The Syrian children keep dying while the world leaders are watching in silence

03.10.2017
By Zohair Ahmad
During the past days, Idlib province, Northern Hama province, Aleppo West and South countrysides, Douma in East Ghouta and many other liberated areas have been targets of horrific air strikes by the Assad regime Airforce with help from the Russians. In Madira, Eastern Ghouta the regime forces attacked a center for the disabled. Another airstrike killed at least 3 medical personnel and damaged a number of medical facilities. The regime forces also target the Civil Defence Centers. This kind of news from Syria, unfortunately, becomes the new normal for all Syrians in the liberated areas.

As a response to all the killing a group of activists, the same group that started the campaign #StandWithAleppo back in October 2016, started a new campaign after they received distressed messages from their friends. They told the group that the bombing of Idlib and Aleppo countryside reminded them of the siege of Aleppo. The Twitter storm on Sunday 01.10.2017 was their response to their friend's distress call.
Idlib has been hit by over 500 airstrikes this week, even in a de-escalation area, a vegetable market was hit. Not even the facilities of the White Helmets are spared. And of course, as always Assad's forces bombed schools and hospitals.
The words from Dr. Fariba speaks for all Syrians “We don’t need tears, we need action.”

Norwegian newspapers paint a grim picture of the Syrian war, they say that Assad has won the war if there’s no dramatic turn occurring. And his victory is not his but that of Russia and Iran. He would have lost years ago without their help. The Norwegian newspapers are quick to point out that it is not Assad ruling Syria but Russia and Iran. The leader of the opposition says it will be difficult at best for the Syrian people to accept a man who has been slaughtering his own people.
The Syrian war has become very lucrative for the Iranian regime they just signed a contract worth 155 million dollars for repairs of the power grid in Aleppo. In the city where the Iranians committed genocide at Assad’s bidding.
The big question that remains is: how many more children have to die before we step in and stop both Assad, Russia, and Iran from killing innocent Syrian children.
As Assad is spreading his terror across the liberated areas of Idlib province, the south and west countryside of Aleppo and Hama province, no one is spared. It seems like the preferred targets of Assad’s forces is children, women and the disabled.
In the month of September, Assad and friends have killed 3000 people, that is actually the number of executed Iranians under his first tenure. I fear that the killing of Syrian children will continue as long as Assad is in Syria, to end the war we must remove Assad, send him in exile.
