Within 24 hours the Iranian regime was threatened 3 times

Within 24 hours the Iranian regime was threatened by USA 3 times. On Wednesday the secretary of defense, James Mattis said that Iran is a factor of instability in the middle east.  And the Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson declared an end to the strategic patience with Iran as he slams the nuclear deal. On Thursday President Trump warned that Iran is not living up to the spirit of its international nuclear deal. These statements are giving a strong indication that the US policy towards Iran has changed. The days of appeasement policy are long gone and Iran faces a tougher USA then they did under Obama.
Trump, Tillerson & Mattis aginst Iran

President Trump has made it very clear that he has no intention of letting Iran off the hook easy. He has promised to
lean on Iran and make strong demands against them. This comes at a time when the clerical regime is in a weak state, the sham election is close and the tension within the regime is getting stronger. The very fact that the former president Ahmadinejad was denied to become a candidate in the upcoming presidential election on may 19 show the weakness in the regime in broad daylight.
When the regime is in this state the reaction on the harsher policy from the USA can trigger an act of terror against the USA. The regime is known for their threats against the US but will this change of policy trigger a deadly reaction? The new administration in Washington has made it very clear that they do not like to be threatened and they respond harshly to any threat. This can make it very difficult for the clerics in Tehran to hide that they are currently at their weakest.
The Iranian public is also aware of the weakness of the regime and is not afraid to show their discontent against the mullahs. This increases the suppression against the people because the regime strongly believes that they can stop all protests by conducting more public executions or issue more fatwas against women. The latest prohibition they issued is that it is illegal to protest against the presidential election. The pattern is clear, the weaker the regime gets, the more they suppress the people. this will, in the end, lead to the downfall of the mullahs and there will be a regime change either by a peaceful transaction but most likely by a violent revolution since the mullahs will not give up their power so easily.
